Portland House

Opera are currently working on the comprehensive refurbishment of Portland House, 495k sq ft GIA, landmark tower in Westminster.

The proposed works include the full CAT A refurbishment of 27 floors, new central plant, lifts and risers, new amenity space and receptions. The project aims to transform a tired 1960’s brutalist office into a sustainable workspace for the occupier of the future.

Opera are appointed as project manager and employer’s agent working with BGY, WPP and Aecom QS. With sustainability at the heart of the brief, the team are working to use as much of the existing structure as possible, centring decision making around the carbon impact. Targeting NABERS 5 stars, this will be the second 5 star NABERS rated building within the client’s portfolio.
