19-33 Liverpool Street

19-33 Liverpool Street is a 3 storey Victorian terrace with a shop parade at ground floor and office accommodation above. The parade is located immediately opposite the main entrance into Liverpool Street Station adjacent to the TFL owned Metropolitan Arcade and lies at the southern gateway to the Broadgate Campus.

To coincide with the redevelopment of 100 Liverpool Street and the advent of Crossrail British Land are undertaking an extensive refurbishment of the shop parade and office accommodation with a revised mix of A1 shops, A3 restaurants and B1 offices.

The parade is considered by the City of London to be a ‘non-designated heritage asset’ and is situated within a conservation area. The scheme aims to faithfully restore the Victorian heritage timber shopfronts and ornate stonework façade of the original building.

Opera were appointed by British Land as project managers to lead the design development and procurement stages of the project from feasibility through to the appointment of a main contractor. Construction works commended in early January 2019.

In addition to our management of the construction works, Opera are also appointed as Retail Delivery project manager acting on behalf of the landlord in co-ordinating the various tenant fit out works.

The project is due to be completed for retail launch in the second quarter of 2019.
