Harrison Gibson

This site of this mixed-use development has been a landmark of Ilford town centre in east London since the early 1900s, when Mr John Harrison Gibson opened a furniture store here. The development, designed by AWW Architects for Lumina Real Estate Capital, forms part of an action plan for regenerating the town centre, and has resurrected the old high street landmark, adding residential accommodation and landscaped public realm space. The 30-storey building will have over 400 residential units.

Opera acted as development advisors and project managers for the client, leading the consultant team to secure full planning permission for the building.

“We enjoy working with the Opera team, they are highly professional, always responsive and have helped us quickly mobilise a strong project team.”
